OMG OMG OMG… How many “OMG”s can one say in response to Pchiddy’s spectacular free skate tonight? Before he skated I prayed hard and imagined him skating joyfully, carefree on the ice… and he did! What a way to end the men’s competition at #CTNSC17!

After a nice holiday break, it is now time for the 2017 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships in Ottawa! Patrick is up for the chance to be national champion for the ninth time, which would mean tying Montgomery Wilson’s record for the most championships won in Canadian figure skating history!

Happy New Year! 2017 has progressed so quickly I can hardly believe that it’s almost the middle of January! Soon, it will be time for Canadian nationals (be sure to see my upcoming preview post) and Patrick will be back competing on the ice.
